In looking back at 2011, it had to rate up there with probably the toughest year for TnT Racing since it came into existence. Yet with everything going against us, it proved to be the most rewarding. I mean who really can complain about winning our 4th National and our 3rd World Titles? We now have the target on our backs again and point blank, I love it!!!! None of this this would be possible without our sponsors, Ted Porter of Formula Powerboats, Champion Storage, Boatfreaks.org and most notably Peters & May Racing. Also special thanks go out to Rob Lauer, “Evil” Ed Smith, Al Culbertson, Devin Weyant and Warren Miller. Tyler Crockett Marine tweaked the Peters & May Fountain into the best the motor has ever performed. They all were apart of stepping in and putting both of our boats up front. I would have packed it in had it not been for the additions of Val Fiorillo and Dee Ungarten. Val pointed the rigs in the right direction and Dee, well, put a cape on her and call her “Superwoman”!!!!! She did everything from setting up and tearing down our pits to even racing the Fountain. To top it off, she was a little beat up and sore from the race herself and preps the icebags for my knees. I’m spoiled now……..
The most important boost from this past year was you, the fans. What a great honor and pleasure it was to interact with you and we cant wait to hit the road to see you again!! I made a promise at the Worlds that you will see a different TnT Racing in 2012 as we are going to be bigger and better. We already have a couple of surprises up our sleaves and our announced alliance with “Jersey Outlaw Racing” just skims the surface.
